Vortex IV - Advice for use in extreme conditions?

Hey guys, I've had a 17 inch Vortex since last October and been very happy with it, no problems at all. But I'm leaving the UK in a few days, heading to Bombay for an indefinite amount of time and being that the temps and humidity tend to be really high there, [maximum of 35C and sometimes 80%+ humidity] I was wondering if anyone here has dealt with similar conditions or has any advice on how to keep her alive and well? Would be very grateful!

The Vortex chassis has a decent amount of thermal headroom, and Clevo laptops always seem to have quite an aggressive cooling policy - they definitely prefer to make more noise and run a bit cooler.

My old Vortex III used to collect a lot of dust, and that made a huge difference to the temps even on idle. The back panel is easily removed so it might be worth checking the fans and air vents for any build up and make sure they're clear.

Apart from that keep it out of the sun and it should be fine. It might be worth investing in a cooling stand if you're going to be using it intensively for long periods during the day.

Just give it a clean before you go and open it again to clean it if it starts to get hotter or slower while you're out there. Also, just keep it off when not needed. Just use common sense I guess :)
