OK first of all here's my spec:
Vortex Series: 15.6" Glossy Full HD LED Widescreen (1920x1080)
Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Mobile Processor i7-3630QM (2.40GHz) 6MB
8GB SAMSUNG 1600MHz SODIMM DDR3 MEMORY (2 x 4GB)
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 670MX - 3.0GB DDR5 Video RAM - DirectX® 11
500GB WD SCORPIO BLACK WD5000BPKT, SATA 3 Gb/s, 16MB CACHE (7200 rpm)
8x SATA DVD±R/RW/Dual Layer (+ 24x CD-RW)
A few times now I've had a problem with the sleep function, I've put the laptop to sleep and when i go to wake up from sleep it just powers off. No shutdown, no response, just a loss of power and everything goes black.
On one occasion the laptop has also just powered itself off while playing Crysis, I had HW monitor going and everything was below 55 degrees C so this is not an overheating issue.
I've phoned PC Specialist and was advised to pull my nVidia drivers back to the ones supplied on the Clevo site, none of these drivers recognised my GTX 670MX so I reverted to the drivers on the original install disc that came with the laptop.
Initially i thought this had solved the problem but alas no... I need to point out here that it isn't EVERY time the computer refuses to wake up, it's happened perhaps 5 times.
As PC Specialist have tried to help already I thought I'd try the forums, any help is appreciated.
