Vortex III hang issue

Hi guys, I have a Vortex III and its epic. I do however have an issue. Almost every time I put it into hibernate and sometimes when I put it into sleep it hangs. Most times the screen is black but its still on with fans going etc and sometimes its a blue screen of death but not often.

Could you guys please give me some clues as to what the issue might be?

If you're getting the occasional BSOD it would help a lot if you could post the Stop Error Code that appears on the BSOD (it will be something like 0x000000C7). That will give us a clue to what is the likely cause of the hang.

Do you have any external USB devices attached when you hibernate or sleep?

And what applications do you typically leave running when you hibernate or sleep?

Is this Win 7 or Win 8 ? Not had a BSOD in years but I don't think W8 shows the error stop code on the blue screen. You would have to go (I think) to the event viewer to see it.
