Hi all, just wondering mainly about the ram on this machine. Would it be better to get the 4 x 4gb or the 2 x 8gb...pros cons? Or would it make more sense to just get a single 8gb instead of the 16gb? Any feedback is really appreciated.

I believe that its the more spread out the ram sticks the better, so 4x4GB will be faster than 2x8GB. However it's easier to upgrade ram if it's 2x8GB you can just add another stick or two. With 4x4 you will have to change the whole lot. If the system is just for gaming then 8GB would be perfect. If it's for more CAD and editing I would go for the 16GB

yeh being able to add more ram without having to change the lot is a good point. im leaning more towards 2 x 4gb, and then if needs be, i can add more. thanks for the advice!
