Vortex II arrived

Arrived on Monday. Today I had the time to go checking it out and to my horror, there's no empty slot to add an extra hard drive! Previously when I selected 8GB RAM, 500GB 7200rpm HDD, i7 2720 the laptop did have an empty slot to add a hard drive. I sent it back for rma and bought it again with better specs and now the empty HDD slot is gone. Is it because this time I ordered the laptop with 16GB RAM that HDD slot got used up?

Strange nobody's answered my question... I don't need to use a second hard drive but it would be nice to know what's taking up that second hard drive space.

Oh, and I've had no problems with the laptop. Only minor issue was not knowing I had to press Fn+F11 to switch on the 6300 wireless card at first.

I did say it's the Vortex II 17inch laptop. Picture's attached. The 6990m graphics card and 16GB memory is at the bottom. The top-right section should be the 750GB HDD. Not sure what's the top-middle section component for. Top-left is the battery. There used to be a empty section in the top-middle of this picture for a second hard drive.

I can't quite make out from the picture if there is something in that top middle section. According to the link in my previous post, the top middle compartment in your picture should have the primary hard drive and the top right should be empty (available for 2nd hard drive). Are you sure they haven't just put your hard drive in the 2nd HD bay instead of the primary bay (top middle)?

If PCS put the 750GB HDD in the secondary slot then what's the thing on the primary HDD slot? All spaces are used up. No spare place to place a second HDD so unless I've been given an extra component for free by accident I have no idea why the spare space is gone... I heard if you go for blue ray or something like that you give up the second hard drive but I didn't buy that.
