Now this was to be my very first laptop that I will have owned after using out of date PC's that have been
handed down through the familey. So I wanted to make sure that I got it right as this would need to last me
around 2 years.
After a short time I got an update saying that it was in the build phase 30-07-2012 and then the next day on
31-07-2012 it had done the test phase and was packed and dispatched.

So you could see that this was very fast so I was very happy when it came the next day around 1pm.
It arrived and I was very happy with the updates and so far everything was going well.
The laptop was packed very well and I was very happy with this.
After opening the box and removing the laptop I found that it was very protected all around however once
it was removed it was almost as if the Dust monster has come from the Vortex and started to attack it.
(so make sure that you have a dust cloth at hand all the time when using this laptop)
After powering this badboy I installed the drivers from the disk and started to update windows.
Once this had all been done I installed the 3DMark11 this was my score http://3dmark.com/3dm11/4041045
which made me scratch my head so I made sure that it was using the GTX 680M and did the test again to get the same results.
So I reinstalled the drivers and tried again however this still didnt fix the problem. I then messaged pcspecialists and they advised
that I send it in for testing. This was all done very quick and I was very happy with how it was going and so I started to pack
the laptop ready for collection.
My brother stoped by and had a look after I told him the trouble I was having and he uninstalled the drivers and then installed them
again so this would be the thired time however this some how fixed it and this was my new score http://3dmark.com/3dm11/4055576
which was a crazy incrase and so I was happy again and I then contacted pcspecialists and told them to cancel the collection.
Now I started to install my games which were Battlefield 3, street fighter X tekken, diablo 3, startcraft 2 and Skyrim.
I ran all these games on Max graphics with no problem and was VERY happy the only thing I can say after typing on this is the
cap's key when pressed makes some lag so if you type right after pressing you will lose a letter unless your slow at typing.
The next day I started to use my laptop and noticed on my screen that I had a red dot the size of a pin head which i now know
was a stuck pixel. So I contacted pcspecialists again but this time the service I had made me have a bitter taste in my mouth
as I found out this is not covered on the warranty and so they would do nothing for me.
so people please learn from my mistake and purchase the dead pixel guarantee.
All in all if I could do it all again I dont think I would without that dead pixel guarantee maybe my standard were to high to
think I would not need it on a £1,655.00 that was my fault.
The only thing I wish this had was a HDMI IN like the alianware laptops but for the price this laptop worked out better for hardware.
(I have also taken some pictures and will upload them when I connect to my net at home)
PS: Sorry for the wall of txt and poor spelling I was in a rush to wright this up :wheelchair:
