Video editing premiere pc - amd 3970x and???

hi i make music videos, video editing, no gaming but also occasional live streaming in 60fps on 3 platforms at once. I'm just getting into heavy sfx with premiere and after effects and need a new future proof pc that can handle it all. My budget is £3500 ish. I've read and watched reviews till my head spins and still non the wiser beyond knowing i definitely want amd 3970x and 2080ti. The other stuff is gobbledegook. Can anyone suggest a build for professional editing please? And also a good 32" monitor

Hi there, Im no specialist but I had just built my rig and I ordered the 3970x initially with the 2080ti. That by itself will take you near your budget. Dont forget the motherboards are very expensive and start at about 400. You will also need at least 32gb of RAM and some decent SSD storage.
If you are definitely sticking with the 3970x, do some research on what MB better suits your needs.

I just don't think this would be possible with a budget of £3500. All I've configured so far is the 3970X, 32GB RAM and the RTX 2080Ti and it's at £3905!

Thank you. I didn't see these replies until now! I actually went ahead with pc specialist's recommendation and now awaiting delivery of my 3970x threadripper with all top specs 😁 i did have to up my budget in the end to 4300 and then even more for peripherals grrr, but hopefully now this will see me through the next decade at least!
