Are you planning on overclocking? If not then you could easily use the triple copper heatpipe cooler and be perfectly fine, also you could use 1600MHz RAM if not overclocking.
I know you said you will be video editing, and I know for video editing a lot of RAM is useful, but do you actually need 32GB?

There is no point have a cache drive if you already have an SSD as the boot drive, the cache drives are for speeding up normal mechanical drives

1st DVD/BLU-RAY Drive
15x BLU-RAY WRITER DRIVE, 16x DVD ±R/±RW

2nd DVD/BLU-RAY Drive
24x DUAL LAYER DVD WRITER ±R/±RW/RAM
Any reason for two DVD drives (yes I know one is blu-ray as well)? Are you going to be writing/copying a lot of DVD's?

thanks for the response. no, i wont be overclocking. so, is the triple copper heatpipe the cheaper option in the list? i use Sony Vegas 12 and it seems to enjoy lots of RAM so 32gb was (in my opinion) a better choice for ensuring speed for rendering, especially as i have discovered the SV "graphics acceleration" option is faulty and needs to be switched off (well it did with the video card in the test machine i used). I take your point regarding the cache drive, and will remove that. I wasnt sure but did suspect it was more for mechanical drives. 2 dvd drives, one blueray and one normal? I am not familiar with blueray systems (still in the days of the CD writer!) and wasn't sure of the fact if it writes normal dvds as well? if so, I can remove the other... and save a few quid.

.........and i might be using the machine for a little gaming too!

much appreciated.

The blue ray drive should write CDs as well, if you are not overclocking you could get the i7-3770 (non-k) and the triple copper heatpipe.

The Blu-Ray drive you have selected, the 15x BLU-RAY WRITER DRIVE, 16x DVD ±R/±RW will write to Blu-Ray,DVD and CD Disks. What to watch for when buying Blu-Ray drives is "ROM",which means "Read-only Memory" like in the 4x BLU-RAY "ROM" DRIVE, 16x DVD "ROM" which won't write to any Disks, and the 10x BLU-RAY "ROM" DRIVE, 16x DVD ±R/±RW which will write to DVD and CD but not Blu- Ray Disks.
