Everyone can have problems, it seems unfortunately that the higher spec machines (and therefore typically more costly) often have more problems than the cheaper (and conversely lower spec) rigs do.
Worst case is that you'll need to send the touch screen fan controller back in for an RMA to be replaced.
I assume the unit lights up and at least appears to be on and its simply you can't alter the settings etc via the touch screen?
I found a white type plastic plug and I'm being asked to send pictures via email... Just ridiculous.
No the whole thing is just dead when I turn the pc on.... They are talking to me as if I'm an engineer... I'm not sending anything back they can come to me and sort it out I told them how important this pc was going to be..
Unfortunately as with any tech, PC's can go wrong at any point (and it does not matter how important it is to you as to whether this happens or not - though sods law seems to suggest it happens more when its more important) - often with PC's that turn up DOA its because something has got knocked out of place or damaged through transit, as Keynes said they will not send someone out to fix your machine (I suspect they just do not have the manpower to do that at any rate) but they will try and get it sorted out asap, and often the quickest way to get these things fixed it to help the customer to fix it themselves with instructions, thus they were trying to get you to have a look at things yourself, if you do not understand what they are saying, tell them and they will try and explain it less technically for you.No the whole thing is just dead when I turn the pc on.... I've just attempted to attach a picture from my phone.... Not sure if it worked...
Well I'm late for a uni lecture because of this...
The fact that I've actually started unscrewing my whole machine apart really doesn't give me piece of mind.. It's my first custom built pc. It's really not a good start...
I'm only 18... Spending that much money on a pc and having a problem on the first day is the worst thing...
I unscrewed to get side panels off and the top part off so i could see if there's something I need to re attach but i had no luck
I got an email back regarding the pictures I sent and they said attach the white plug to the power supply... How the hell is that tiny white plug going to reach the power supply... It's just ridiculous... I don't want to stores pulling on things either cause as soon as I put something else out of place there will be some made up crap about no warrenty for that... Having said that I got the premium warrenty option so this better be solved ASAP... I don't want to send anything back either cause then it's gonna be another 2 weeks to get my pc
