I have an old model smart phone GT-s5363 on 02 contract. I used to be able to do blue tooth to my old computer vista os.
I've gotten my marvellous vortex iv, win 8.1. Altho' blue tooth mobile/comp 'paired' , I couldn't send either re pc/mobile.
2 nights ago I sorta began to think it's my mobiles prob with the syncing(sic).
One night ago, I had to load 'kies'....anyhow, I connected my mob via usb & Kies 'loads' - however (numerous times) Kies says my mob battery is low - it is not! (I check & in checking 'Kies' disappears). Anyhow....my alarm sound didn't work etc afterwards.
I have been connected to Kies for approx. 5 hrs now! And all that the 'box' says is 'preparation for galaxy y (GT-S5363) firmware upgrade will proceed. Please donot disconnect the cable connected to the pc.' How long do I have to wait? I've googled to no avail - but it would be nice to have some idea! Kies justs has a line that goes forward & backwards! So I don't know whether it's stuck in a loop? Argh
