im guessing you've found nothing on it through google or whatever?, do you not have one of those code things sort of like 0x00000000, they're normally good for using to find the cause

My alienware did that on the first day I had it. My previous PC wouldnt turn on so didnt have another one to use if I send it back so thought i'd hold on to it and see if it did it again, never got a single blue screen until AVG Root Scan bugged out about 2 years later

BSOD's can be anything from a driver, piece of software, failed component, failed OS update, incompatability, etc. They're often not easy to rectify.

One BSOD does not normally mean you have a problem, and the occasional BSOD can be expected. Once I had about 6 in a week, but that was over a year ago and I haven't had any since.

If you start to receive regular crashes, then please contact our support centre for further advice

Agreed with PCS, BSODs can occur for any reason and usually it is nothing to worry about. It's only when the BSODs are popping up on a regular basis or if you can do something which you know will always promt a BSOD when you need to worry.

Just monitor the performance of the PC over the next few days Steve and keep us updated in this thread. Maybe even stress the PC, run a few more benchmarks or prime95 to check the stability of the PC.
