I couldn't find any posts regarding Ubuntu on the Elimina series, so I thought about sharing what I've been through, in case it can help you.
I just used a USB drive and followed the first guide I found online, everything was easy to set up, even without windows installed by default (pcspecialist includes a 30 days trial windows version, but I guess it's not even needed), except for the nvidia driver. I don't know why but I couldn't boot anymore with the nvidia-driver-530-open, even though it appeared as "recommended", but when I use the 525, everything's working fine.
There are also a few small errors on startup, but it doesn't seem to change much.
