Touchpad stops responding

Hey guys,

Ever since I have my Cosmos IX, the touchpad ever so often hangs and stop responding for about 1 or 2 seconds. It's not so often that it becomes a real problem, but it can be quite frustrating at times.
I wonder: what could it be? I would want to reinstall the drivers but I can't identify which ones they are, they are not on the disk...

Worth a try, not had any problem here

Do you have bullguard installed, it can cause problems

No, I don't have an antivirus other than Windows Defender.

I can't identify what drivers are needed for the pad though. Mouse devices only lists the following two:

HID-compliant mouse and Microsoft PS/2 Mouse

Go into Device Manager and uninstabtge touchpad from there, if asked also uninstall the driver. Then reboot, go back to the touchpad in Device Manager and select update driver. Let Windows search for the best driver.

Tried the above... Sadly the issue still occurs at random times. Very odd.
The mouse is separate to the touchpad. Usually the touchpad will be a synaptics driver.

What's the chassis model number? It will be on a label on the underside of the laptop?
