That time has already passed Im afraid, I have to dial a couple of settings down to get decent frame rates, Farcry 3 is a classic example. I imagine the new Metro game will really hurt this card. If longevity is importatnt you could go for a Crossfire Laptop with the 7970m, slightly more cash obviously. Failing that, a desktop offers far more power for less money and are easier to upgrade, this might not be an option of course.

What about 2 x 680m in the vortex elite How long do you think that would last. I want to be able to play ps4 games on high settings when they come out. Thanks
