Hi. My Mate Wants to get into PC Gaming/Streaming. He as put a build together. he wants to know if the build is any good or does it need changing. He will be using a Samsung Odyssey G9 49" 240Hz Gaming Monitor.

Build looks insane, but with that sort of budget... i’d definitely suggest the samsung 980 as the SSD.

He’s very nearly nailed the build there, its not far off perfect. Tips...

As above, swap the 500GB 980 in place of the 500GB Firecuda, it’s ridiculously fast.

And it’s worth adding the AX200 WiFi card even if he’s using Ethernet, the added Bluetooth connectivity is a really useful little bonus for the extra £19 it’ll cost him 👍

Thanks Guys. I just told Him. He is going to ad the wifi card and change to 500gb Firecuda. He going to be ordering now
He got monitor for xmas and he gaming on a i7 7700k and 1070 at moment and he decided to splash out with xmas money.

He has the firecuda at the moment, the samsung 980 is the one he wants to swap it to.

once he does that, he has basically the same build as i am eyeing up, apart from i’m going for a different case and a ryzen 5
