Ordered on a sat so that's two days without nothing been done! :( I know these guys need a weekend off but to us waiters it can't come quick enough! Thanks in advance for all those who will be involved with this build :)

Thanks for info, don't know much about over clocking but thought I might try it some time if I need it, is this spec OK for this or do I need that CPU paste, what is it and how does it work? I already have the CoolIT Eco, and I think the wattage is high enough.
Thanks

All your spec is well set for overclocking. You should be able to get a pretty high clock with those specs.
I would buy some thermal paste and apply it before overclocking (Youll be fine without until then)

If your order is still in pre production the amendents are free btw :)

and if comments are welcome id change the HDD setup to a 1TB caviar black as your primary drive and a 2TB caviar green as your secondary storage drive
Its always best to have your OS on a smaller HDD as if it goes wrong it takes all then info on the partition/drive with it.

Thanks for that. I will have to phone them tomorrow about it, I think the thermal paste would be good but didn't see it in the build list, not sure on what it cost? How do I add +rep? can't see a link to add it to your profile. Appreciate the feedback thanks

its the star to teh left of the triangle underneath my profile pic :)
and your welcome

Normally the thermal paste is only offered on the overclocked pc configurator but if you call up/ email them then im sure theyd be happy to build your pc with thermal paste included

*thermal paste will be applied in the building as default but you will want better quality paste for overclocking
