Hi guys,

I just started up my pc today and I had an error message "The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded." when I input my password. So I typed it in again and I was signed in. I started to Google this error message because I never came across it and I heard a lot of people who get this can't get into their account.

Am I safe seeing as I was able to log in after the second try?

Not come across this problem before, but if it's only occurred once I would guess it's an anomaly.

Thanks for the reply, I made another admin profile just in case.
I want to ask another question if you don't mind.
I have a DVI cable and a VGA cable. I'm tempted to know what will happen if I plugged both cables in the graphics card to the monitor. Will it damage the GPU or no picture because the monitor would be confused?

You would just get no picture, no damage.

I heard a lot of people have a habit of turning a pc off by holding down the power button.
I know it's not good to the hard drive but what about other components?
Any risks if they hold it at boot up?

Holding the power button down during boot or at any time sends a kill signal to the mainboard, its the same as turning the power off at the plug.

Its not very good for Windows and can result in data corruption, worst case scenario is if you do it during an update or similar and Windows becomes unbootable.

I have a question about GPU.
I was installing a new driver whiles watching a video and the screen went black and had a flashing underline (just like you would see at boot up) and the sound the still going but when it came back on the video screen was green. I refreshed the page and the video is fine, I was wondering if I did something wrong and also could I update my GPU by using the disc it came with?

It is always advisable not to run any programs when updating drivers or installing software as it may corrupt the installation process. You can install GPU drivers from the disc but best to download latest ones from the official website.
