The Sims 3 Issues...

Thought I'd crack on with one of my old favourites today. It was on offer on origin so I bought the Sims 3, with a few of the expansions.
Now it plays flawlessly in play mode, at Mazda settings for everything. 1920x1080, and set to high, for all options.
However, the minute I enter build mode, it stutters, takes forever, when I try and edge scroll, it takes about 10 seconds to react. Infuriating! As the only reason I really enjoyed the Sims, was 'cause I could build houses that I can only ever dream of owning. But now even dreaming via a game isn't possible, anyone know what's going on?

I've just tried to add my spec to my sig, hopefully it's worked.

Your spec is easily capable. Have you tried a clean driver install? Worth a shot

Forgive my lack of knowledge, but which/what drivers?

Great, now all I need to know is how to do that... Haha. Is it obvious, I usually just google these things and follow any instructions I can find.

Download the driver from here,
http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-uk
Make sure you select the option for clean/fresh install.
