The PCS Maelstrom T900 Case - how loud and general impressions?

As a potential case, this is vaguely appealing in terms of cost and supplied fans.

With such fans, whats the noise like coming from it under load and generally are there any forum lurkers out there who'd care to share their thoughts?

I don't have the case but I don't really think you can get good feedback regarding your queries. For me it could be ok but you may be more sensitive to noise.

I have the case and have used to for 2 years. I would say it certainly isnt a silent case and i rarely use mine under load but it doesnt make enough noise for me to ever think, "Wish i had a quieter case". Also recently i got noise cancelling headphones so maybe if you worry about your noise levels you could get a pair or a fan controller?

I have this case. It does exactly what it needs to do. The big fan in the side isn't brilliant (so I have been told) and can be replaced by 2 120mm fans for better performance (also what ice been told) only problem is no fan slots in the MB for them lol. You can buy a splitter or something.
Mine is quite noisy but I think that is 70% the psu (the 650 corsair one can't remember it properly).
Biggest downer for me is.... It's ugly as hell. I quite like the carbide one that is £10 more expensive I think it's 210 or something.
When I ordered it I was told on forums it didn't have great cable management also.

I'm saying all this negative stuff but tbf I have not had a problem with it. It just sticks out cos it's so ugly lol.

Thank you guys - those kind of general impressions were exactly what I was looking for and kind of tallies with what impressions it was leaving.

Kinda like a girls best friend in a bar. Not as pretty as the standouts and a little larger but cheaper, keeps her cool, a bit louder, does the job and still fun to be had :)

I use this case, and I'd say the fans can get pretty loud. However, if you get a fan controller (I bought one for £20) you can make it as loud/quiet as you like :)
I love it though, honestly. It's got excellent cooling due to the 4 fans and good airflow, and I think it looks great (in contrast to craig above). Only downside is that if you want a top-end graphics card, it won't fit. But given that it's only a mid tower, it has a lot of room.

Oh, and built in motherboard standoffs is a feature I absolutely love, though that's only something for builders.
