The Hundred - What is the Point of It?

Anyone else think that this is a pointless competition? I don’t see what this does better than (or as well as) T20. The on screen graphics are terrible and look like they are from the 1980s. The necessary information is spread all over the screen. This is very much a solution looking for a problem.

The point of it is to make money

It fits into a 3-hour broadcast window (which T20 could, given the motivation) and doesn't take away from broadcast rights that have already been sold.

It’s bringing disco and “half time” entertainment / band to cricket to try to appeal to the younger generation.

But it just gone too far with the concept and the grfx I think.

Is it not cricket but they are only allowed to chuck 100 balls being the only reall difference, so shortened and speeded up like a Benny hill and one of his closing chase clips?
