The Hot Room

Random question but:

My new pc is currently going through QC in the hot room. Can i ask what the hot room is and what the pcs do in it?

I'm guessing they just run at 100% load at high ambient temps until it either a) satisfies them or b) fails and has to be checked.

actually you're all wrong, the hot room is a kind of pc spa, where the pcs are shown luxury before they're handed over too the bufoons that are dhl delivery men..

Its a room that holds around 80 or so Pc's that are all run under stress with a periodic reboot. It gets very, very hot in there.

My room can get quite hot if I leave my PC running all day. Now, I would estimate it to increase the temperature of the room by around about 10 degrees. If I use my superawesome science and maths, this would mean the temperature of the PCS hot room could exceed 800 degrees over that of normal room temp!
