Quick question. I asked about the CPU being pre clocked and was told that PCS cant do this. How wise and easy is it for me to do this myself?

I would imagine over clocking a laptop CPU is a bit more dangerous than over clocking a PC CPU due to the disadvantage laptop's have when it comes to cooling. Although it is possible with that processor if you tried it and ended up frying something by mistake then you would not be covered under the warranty.

Thanx Steaky. that's what I thought. Maybe im being a little too greedy right now in trying to suck as much performance out of it.

The thing aint even been born yet!

I'm no hardware expert but if you post your intended uses / budget for this machine other forum members may post advice / considerations about your configuration :)

You really don't want to go overclocking on a laptop due to overheating probabilties.
Also there really is no need for 32GB of ram, even for video editing,if it's for gaming 4GB ram would suffice at present, but 8GB would be a wise choice for the future.
