Anyone got this? Looked really interesting so I obtained a free copy to test it out, and it seems pretty good, it's similair to minecraft, only the crafting is a little easier, but the construction element ISN'T as good. However it makes up for this via the combat (lots of mobs and bosses) and exploration, also you can make houses for NPC's to come (Shops, medics etc.)

Anyway, I was contemplating a 4 pack if anyone wants to?

Anyone else got this, I've spent about 75 hours on one character and I want to start a new one but I want someone to play it with

Aye same & I have all the NPC's and a huge mansion that took 2 weeks to build... Which is why I want to start again, its not hard anymore ^^

Yeah I've got it, was hooked at first but then stopped playing lol Other games came along. Didn't get particularly far though :(

Couldn't fathom out the online play! Couldn't manage to get me and a friend connected.

Yeah I'll admit JSG when I first got it that it was hella fun.. The connection for me didnt really pose much of a problem as I am microsoft certified and am used to setting up networks but for anyone else I can see it being a problem

Though you can run a dedicated server as they can support up to 255 people, if you ya'll want we can get a server set up and see how many we can get on it

Haha nice one! Atm play on a server i set up with the gf; (Which is a pain if you're not into/comfortable with setting port forwarding up etc...) and i cant tell you how hard it was to get this sorted by way of steam message whilst on the computer and not wanting to throw things at the pc/her/monitor/anything. I agree they could have made it a little easier, and for how well the game has done a server browser system might have been better; but from your last sentence and how much time this game takes up vs. some little git coming on just to do some "demolition" (as fun as it sounds potentially admittedly) I think that may be why they chose the option they did.

Saying all that i have spent too much time on this game with her...so much so that the little "tink tink" sounds of the pickaxe have stuck in my head long after playing....which cant be a good thing lol not to mention that music! Nice one for setting up a server and would like to join one day if i can bear the pain of whatever is dished out at me for abandoning the massive mining town that has already been built on the gf server. Probably more pain than the sound of dread that is that noob-hunting worm when you have burrowed too far down with shoddy armour etc when you first start playing and havent grasped the basics...only to see your hard earned bits of dirt, crap, sand, and copper uselessness go disappearing down a pit. Ahh the joys of Terraria.

Well I seem to have hit a snag with the dedicated server... I can run the dedicated server just fine, but whilst I'm running it I cant connect (which never used to be a problem in 1.0.5) so the only way I can do it now is to take the dedicated server offline while I'm physically on the server, It's not a huge problem if people dont mind being dc'd for a few seconds while I put the dedicated up

Where's you Microsoft certified now ey :p Joking :) unfortunately I found out while playing with Keen the otherday that I'm not into the game anymore so unfortunately wont be joining you's.

My net went down last night, Finally came back up this morning and I've started the dedicated server again.. I have also fixed the snag that stopped me connecting whilst I was running the server so I can now leave the dedicated server running 24/7

About the only time the server will not be running is when my net is down
