Have you admins considered installing the tapatalk plugin for your forum. means users can get notifications and browse the forums etc on any smart phone. really is worth getting i use it on my sites.

It also spams IOS/Android users with a popup when they visit telling them it's "tapatalk enabled". Oh, and it costs to download it.

Basically good functionaltiy, but a huge money-spinner for tapatalk. Annoying to those of us who quite happily browse this with our iDevices without the need for third party junk.

tapatalk has free clients and to install it costs nothing on the forum. for people like me that own the Tapatalk software it is a boon. if all your worried about is that you get a pop up saying the forum is tapatalk compliant (something that only happens when you first connect) then i think that is hardly spamming you?

As someone who does a lot of browsing on a smartphone, I'd rather have a decent *proper* smartphone theme than tapatalk support. Tapatalk is the easy way out and considering how expensive it is its not even as good as many plain html/css smartphone layouts, however it is probably better than nothing on low end smartphones.

i do not have a low end smartphone and personally i love tapatalk for the notifications i simply asked PCS to consider it if you don't want to use it then fine don't. doesn't mean it should not be installed for those that have the app. after all it does not cost PCS anything to install it so there is no repercussion to you other than a single pop up that says that TAPATALK is installed on the forum.
