hey all,

so, gaming away tonight on bf3 online. Then suddenly the game crashed, as did my internet.

PC restart, no change and still no internet, cant load up Steam in online mode, or origin for that matter.

restarted the router twice, and the PC again.

Checked my network drivers are up to date in device manager. which they are.

steam/origin still cant load up. only a few web pages will load. Pcs forums oddly being one that does.

cant get into my router webpage.

running my second virus scan of the night now. Dont think anything will be found.

any ideas? homeplug problem?>

thanks in advance.

Could just be an internet problem (like with the cabinet or something)? Don't suppose you have any pal's living near you who can tell you if their web is down too?

You could try clearing cache, cookies etc on your browser,or does it happen regardless which browser you use.

yeah, vanthus I did that, erm, still nothing.

managed to reset the router in the settings....

Obviously you have gone beyond what your internet provider would call fair usage and has cut your bandwidth.

I think they all have a "fair usage policy",which in reality means there's no such thing as unlimited downloads at max speed really.
