Hi guys

So my laptop was built the 13/03, and have been waiting to enter testing since then

I've written an email to PCS, but still no reply. Since I'm from Denmark I cant really call them without it costing a minor fortune

Anyone aware if they're having/had problems with testing or quality control? :)

Best Regards

Not seen/heard anything myself (on the forums) about any issues - however you might consider using Skype or something similar to call them it should be significantly cheaper :)

Is your laptop 'built' or 'in-building'? If its in-building then you might be waiting on an out of stock item or something like that?

Well status says "In building" but I got an email on the 13/3 saying "Your order has now been built and is awaiting testing and configuration."

Also under production dates it says "Build Date 13-03-2013"

Which one to follow?

Good question, cant help you I'm afraid, I guess you wouldn't have gotten the mail saying it was built unless it was. There is of course another possibility of it failing during testing and PCS having to replace a part (which has subsequently gone out of stock?)? As I said above, I would consider giving them a call via skype or something similar. Or maybe even sending another mail just to be sure :)

I'd drop them a mail to check the status.

I'm pretty sure there is no general problem with quality control - there would be a load of posts about it if that was happening - but it could be that there was a problem found with one of the components in your machine, maybe (if so, good that they found it, but then you might have to wait for a replacement).

Anyway, best to check with PCS. The rest of us can only guess.

I got a hold of them, and from what they told me it went into testing and then back into building, but for somewhat reason the status never changed, so i haven't been forgotten :)
