Stuck between two different monitor sizes

This "is it worth it" type question is a really difficult thing to answer - do you have the £50 available that isn't better saved or spent on anything else?

If so, then sure :) go for it :)

The larger screen is G-Sync as opposed to freesync and a little brighter too from what I briefly read in the specs.

General rule of thumb is if you go above 24" at 1080p you will start to lose picture sharpness, however with that small difference you probably won't notice much.

The more expensive monitor has a brighter screen as well

Overall I don't think there is a massive difference at all. All depends whenever you have the budget to spend the extra £50 and if so go for it.

Would a free sync monitor with a rtx 2060 be different if it were a g sync monitor? Thanks

Maybe I'm just not fully awake this afternoon but I don't think I understand the question properly... yes it would be different because it would be a g sync monitor.

You can now use freesync on a nvidia card (essentially you can enable gsync via the nvidia control panel), I have no idea if it works as well as a full fledged gsync monitor though.

They’re very much the same in performance between freesync and gsync.

GSync costs more because it’s a hardware module.

Freesync is free.

I have ASUS TUF Gaming VG259Q. Recommending 24inch as if you get 25inch, you'll feel wanting for 27inch... You definitely wouldn't feel this way having a 24inch :)
