I didnt fancy doing a dual pc setup for streaming. But i am struggling to game and stream certain games on same machine. So i have no other option than buy another pc just for to stream and do stuff on internet with.

Lols, you'll have NO problem streaming with that build.

If you're having problems, it's down to the configuration, not the hardware!

You don't need a dedicated streaming PC, you just need to configure it properly.

What are you using to stream?

I am using OBS 26.1.1

And what issues are you having?
Encoding overload and stream lags and skips. feels like am playing on a console.

Output scale resolution is 1280x70 tried both 30fps and 60fps

I have lowered graphics down in game.

Encoder Nvidia Nvenc h.264 ( New )
Rate control set to CBR
Bit Rate 6000kbps i even been lowering it
Keyframe 2
Preset max quality ( been changing it )
Profile High ( been changing it )

Process Priority Above normal

Certain games fine.

Games such as

Watch dogs legion
Cyberpunk 2077.

I struggle with.

I tried 2560 x 1440 and also tried 3840x2160

Monitor am using now is 2560x1440

Base canvas resolution in obs setting is set to 2560x1440

But when i made post on reddit about issue. people been telling me. I need a streaming pc for games such as cyberpunk etc so that reason i asked if someone could put build together.

Are you running the stream through the GPU?

It would make more sense to run it through the CPU.

Yes running through gpu. But i have also tried cpu and still having same issue.

Got told gpu was better.
GPU is only marginally better with nvenc, but it’s such a small benefit it’s not really worth it, especially when trying to run massively demanding games like cyberpunk and legion that will saturate the card.

If the stream isn’t working off the CPU, it’s because it’s not configured correctly imho, nothing to do with hardware.

we’ve got people streaming quite happily on R5 3600’s specifying just 2 cores to the stream. That cpu has half the cores yours does.

there's nothing wrong with the hardware at all, it’s just configuration.

Right guys.. When I been doing both streaming and gaming same time. I had task manager running in back ground to see what was happening. I noticed that my obs is using 50%+ of my gpu. Soon as I load any games up. Gpu runs at 100% and temp for gpu is 85. To me that don't seem normal

GPU will always be 100% when running a game, if it's anything less there's something wrong.

But again, you shouldn't be using the GPU for streaming, should be done on the CPU.

I did try using CPU. But was still having issue. But i was reading up about it, Everyone says GPU is better option as its got a encoder chip or something built inside. When i been watching few top streamers, They all all using GPU.

As said previously, NVENC is only marginally better, to the untrained eye you wouldn't know any difference at all.

On your system, if it's configured correctly, it will run perfectly well off the CPU, far better than it would off the GPU.
