SSD and TRIM

So; I have a nice new PC on order, with an Intel 120GB SSD as the C:\ (OS) drive. I have been reading about SSD technology to try to get up to speed with stuff and have come across mention of TRIM. From the information found, I can grasp the function of TRIM but I am unclear in which ways this might apply to the kit I have ordered. For example:-

o Does Win7 deal with this?
o Does the Intel SSD handle it?
o I read of an "SSD toolbox" which includes a wipe app. ??

Any pointers and information would be gratefully received...

Windows 7 will automatically detect wether a drive supports TRIM on install and apply it, so no need to worry.

Thanks.

Although I continue to keep up with technological changes (since my Compaq 286/10MB hdd days), getting my head round the detail; the upsides, downsides and the essential wrinkles when I really only go into it in fine detail once every 4-5 years is proving, as always "interesting".
