Spec Check - 1440p Ultrawide / Sim Racing Build

Hi,

Could I get a spec check on this one please. I'm looking for a Sim Racing build to support games such as iRacing / ACC with large grids of AI drivers. The monitor will be a 1440p Ultra wide 144hz. Also I would like to use a Quest2 for VR at a decent rez / refresh rate. I prefer a smaller size case without making too many compromises. I might do some minimal OC'ing but it might be over spec'ed. Budget is £2k ish.

PS - Do I need the extra rear fan with this CPU cooler?

Looks good, be aware though that the case is a very small form factor, I've got one and think it's great but with an ATX board it's pretty tight. Just check that it's going to be right for you and that the GPU will fit.

I originally went for the same case, but during production of my build I got a phone call from PCS stating the case was too small for my AIO + GPU (3070), and that the website shouldn't of let me proceed to the payment tab.

I would stick with the 220T but have a backup just in case you get the same phone call as me.

Thanks both, the configurator did alert me to the length issue when I tried to add the larger 220 version. I'm assuming the single 120 will just work as the exhaust fan so might drop the extra case fan I added. I do like the look of the case so hopefully I don't get any last minute calls

Any view on the PSU? I did have a 850w in there but it helpfully told me it was over spec'ed. I'm just thinking of future proofing for possible (When prices come down!) 4000 series.

Personally I'd go for the 1000 end if there's room in the budget, but 850 minimum, the configurator works on what you need now not a couple of years down the line when you go to upgrade to the latest power hungry GPU
