Sound problem

My Asus Xonar DG audio isn't working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, plugged in speakers and earbuds. No sound comes out. The volume playback devices doesn't even register it. How do I fix this fast, easy, and free?

Nevermind. My computer just needed it to be reinstalled and restarted.

What is your full spec?

What version of Win 10 are you on? (open the start menu and enter "winver")?

Has your PC had any Windows updates recently? Check in the update history.

I am actually on windows 7. not windows 10. Anyways. My version is 6.1 Build 7601: Service Pack 1. I just recently had an update about an hour ago.

Where did you install the drivers for the ASU’s xonar from?

I believe my dad got it from the actual site or it came with the actual sound card he put into my computer when he built it

Sound problem fixed! It was loose so I unplugged it and plugged it back in!
