Hey guys.

I'll be going to University next month so I'm gonna need a new Laptop for the next 3 years.

Have been looking at an Optimus V 17". Am going to be taking the laptop to uni so that I can use it for everything from Word Processing, to Photoshop, to games like CS:GO, LoL, SC2, etc.
What do you guys think of this build?

Chassis & Display
Optimus Series: 17.3" Glossy Full HD LED Widescreen (1920x1080)

Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™i7 Quad Core Mobile Processor i7-4700MQ (2.40GHz) 6MB

Memory (RAM)
8GB SAMSUNG 1333MHz SODIMM DDR3 MEMORY (1 x 8GB)

Graphics Card
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 765M - 2.0GB DDR5 Video RAM - DirectX® 11

Memory - Hard Disk
750GB WD SCORPIO BLACK WD7500BPKT, SATA 3 Gb/s, 16MB CACHE (7200 rpm)

Also, another question. I have a custom desktop from PC Specialist also. Would I be able to use the Windows 7 disc I got with that on a new computer?

Thanks.

Looks alright, are you maxed out budget wise? For gaming a laptop is never the best solution, but the 765m is a half decent hard as long as you are happy to turn the settings down a few notches for newer games (if you decide to play em). But overall it looks fairly standard for a laptop intended for your uses.

Yeah, maxed out budget. I believe the 765m will easily be enough to play League of Legends very capably.
