Every game i try i play im getting continuous lagg even when on the minimum graphic settings, im hoping its just because my pc is really dusty but if not what else could it be?

what kinda temps do you have mate?

latest drivers? beta drivers? may be worth doing as fresh gpu driver install.

Open her up and check your dust levels. Can never hurt to give it a blast out.

How long have you had the PC and when was the last time it was cleaned?

And fwiw, I recently fixed a PC that wouldn't even post by giving it a bloody good clean out. XD

Well just from where im sitting i can see dust clogging up the dust filter and fans, im hopefully getting some compressed air tomorrow and then after ive dusted and cleaned it ill report back.

Right ive just finished cleaning my computer and its spotless, thing is my games are still lagging. For example on spec ops the line on the menu its fine but as soon as i move my mouse it laggs, i cant even run garrys mod on the lowest setting because it laggs to much.

Its either because the intel graphics are running or the GPUs are at idle clock (least likely)

It may be running on intel graphics because the card may not be seated properly try reseating them and see if they are recognised, if not, it may be something to do with the SLI, take one out and try that

Turn off the computer, unplug the computer at the back, unscrew the graphics card on the left (hold the card as it may fall) just pull it out of the socket and push it back in firmly and put the screw back in, make sure you ground yourself first, and once you've done one, do it to the other one and then turn it back on and post results

Have you fiddled with any BIOS settings or settings within a certain program that may have changed something?

I just did what you told me and when only 1 monitor is activated its fine but when all 3 are acitvated even when only playing on one it laggs uncontrollably.

Open Nvidia control panel, go to 3D Settings, and make sure Multi display performance mode is activated under Multi display/mixed GPU acceleration

Did you by any chance download nvidia inspector? its a program that im using to fix the clocks with more than one monitor

Ok so here is something you can try on nvidia inspector

open up the program, right click on the show overclock button

another window should open up, tick 'run multi display power saver at startup' then tick both of your GPUs on the right

then slide the left slider to about 30% and run a demanding game, see if that works, bear in mind you will need to adjust this value depending on what game you play otherwise it will keep changing clocks etc during game causing lag, for a less demanding game, decrease this value, for a more demanding game, increase it

I have had one bug when it changes clock speeds through this program and that is that on my second monitor I get a black flash across the bottom of my second screen, barely noticeable really but just thought id let you know, its not caused me any problems particularly

Doing this will also save power as the cards will be at their idle speed when browsing etc, because nvidia drivers seem to autoclock to maximum permanently when you have more than one screen

Sorry this is long winded but hopefully it can fix your problem

Not even that has worked, i started up spec ops on 30% and just moving the mouse made it lagged so i bumped it up and it still did it until i had it on 100% and it still did it then, i even tried it on lower % aswell but nothing :(

hmm go to the main window right click on the same button and choose the sensors one, make sure the GPU clock is on there, what does it say now? and what does it say when in a game? (you may want to run the game on one screen so you can see the sensor window)
