Skyfire III 14" WLAN, Fn keys, Webcam drivers

I ordered the 14" Skyfire III laptop from PCspecialist and it arrived today.
I've set everything up to my liking but the WLAN drivers included on the driver disk 'do not work for this operating system' according to the setup wizard, and I can't find any online because I don't really know what I'm looking for.
There were also no drivers for the Fn keys or the built-in webcam included.
I can only access the internet using an ethernet cable for now because the laptop hasn't found the wireless card as far as I know, and the webcam/fn keys aren't functional.
I need these drivers asap and I can't find one for the WLAN.

Any help with finding a WLAN driver would be much appreciated, thanks.

Running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Open the Start Menu, type 'device manager' and press enter. Right-click on any Unknown Devices, and then Install Driver... Then point the installer at the disc, and it should find it automatically. It's a bit of a workaround but it seems it's becoming more and more necessary with Clevo stuff as time goes on.

Thanks guys, with help from the PCspecialist main site support system, I found the wireless drivers, and you have helped me fix the webcam and fn keys, all is now in working order, thanks a lot!

None of this works for me, I try to install the Ethernet driver and it says something like missing Qualcomm Atheros AR81family ethernet controller. I have no idea what to do about it. PLEASE HELP.

It sounds like you're installing the wrong driver, are you using the driver disk from PCS? Alternatively, if you logon to your account on the PCS website (not the forum) and look down the left hand side for the Tech Support menu entry you'll see a link called Downloads. In there you'll find a zip file containing all the drivers for your build.

I tried this, and it still says 'Installer can't find Qualcomm Atheros AR81Family ethernet controller on your system.'

Ok, then enter Device Manager (via Control Panel) and expand the Network Adapters section. One of the entries in there will be for your wifi card, it should be pretty obvious. The entry should give you a clue as to the manufacturer and you can then go to the manufacturer's website and find the right driver for it.

Hi,

Which "model" should I be looking for on the Clevo website? I also have the Skyfire iii. I chose win 8.1 on the order form, but only 1 driver is listed in the download section on the website.

While in the device manager only the ethernet is giving me a yellow triangle, the fn keys aren't working, and neither is the webcam.

Not sure if the Skyfire is a Clevo, have a look on the underside of the laptop, the name and model number should be listed there.

Ok, so it is't a Clevo. Question stands. Does anyone know where to find these drivers?
Not sure if you're saying it is or it isn't a Clevo, what brand name and model number does it give?
With that information forum members could possibly help source the drivers you need, failing that probably best give PCS a call.

I am having the same issue with the Webcam.

Model is MS-14924 but doesn't give the manufacturer name. Unless that is "Notebook PC".

*Edit* It's an MSI

Pretty sure I tried to source MSI laptop drivers before without success,so probably best contact PCS.
Have you tried FN+F6 to enable the webcam,it could be FN+ another key so have a look at the manual on the disk provided.
