Hello hope your all doing well, after almost 5 years in the making I finally have my dream desktop PC. Thanks to PCS for the wonderful support and an awesome experience. You guys truly mean business and are really helpful.

My desktop PC arrived today. Packaged securely without any components getting damaged. Nice package team. As always before I turned the PC I read the instructions that was clearly visible on the case.

I cant seem to connect the side panel of my case. Well I don't know how to connect it onto the motherboard and I don't want to do anything unless I'm 100% sure.

Case
COOLERMASTER HAF-X FULL TOWER GAMING CASE

Motherboard
ASUS® MAXIMUS VII GENE: RoG, PCI-e 3.0, SATA 3.0, USB3.0

One of the attachment image is the connection on side panel fan, where the other image is a cable that has been included with the "Welcome Pack"

I would really appreciate any help

Peace

Steve

Those images are of Molex Connectors -= they will not connect to your motherboard directly - they connect to the PSU (or the ones on the right should, the ones on the left are probably connected to the fan?) Is there not a smaller connector on the fan which you might be able to route to your motherboard? The fan headers are very small.

The Welcome Pack will contain lots of spare cables - if they are in the box, I would assume you wouldn't need them yet (although, it may not take long until you've got them all in: I'm now out of SATA cables as I've got all my HDs in my machine now).
