I'm also looking for some help with servers. I have been reading up on server backups using resync, was wondering what you guys thought of this article?

I think you mean "rsync" and yes it's the best form of backup available ever! With some arguments passed you can have daily backups with retention and compression.. and it's just dandy. Been using it for years for home use and also for professional use at work.
