Second HDD Questions

I have recently got a Skyfire III 17.3" laptop from PCS which I am delighted with, but have realised that my HDD is too small (750GB) for all my docs and games. So I was wondering if I could add a second 1-2Tb HDD myself instead of sending my Precious away. My question are:
1)Will this ruin my silver warranty?
2)Is this possible?
3)How would I install it?
4)How big can it be? (Height, Width etc.)

Thanks
Gorn

The Skyfire III 17.3" has 2 x 9.5mm 2.5" S-ATA Hard Drive Support,so it's not a problem.
Your warranty wont be affected as long as you don't damage anything while installing it.

If you only want to archive little used files but still need access to them, why not consider a 2.5" USB external drive. It would power off the laptop and be small enough to carry around in the laptop case.

750GB of data is a LOT of data and I seriously doubt you need constant access to all that data all the time. An external drive onto which you can put all your little-used (but still needed) data will free up the prime HDD real estate. And you won't loose the optical drive - something you will ultimately regret I think. :)
