Screen Flickering and Dimmed backlight

Hello again! I've made it a whole just over 2 years without an issue following my previous 4 RMAs :D

So, spec:
Chassis & Display
Recoil Series: 15.6" Matte Full HD IPS 144Hz 72% NTSC LED Widescreen (1920x1080)
Processor (CPU)
Intel® Core™ i7 Six Core Processor 8750H (2.2GHz, 4.1GHz Turbo)
Memory (RAM)
16GB Corsair 2400MHz SODIMM DDR4 (2 x 8GB)
Graphics Card
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1060 - 6.0GB GDDR5 Video RAM - DirectX® 12.1
1st M.2 SSD Drive
1TB SSD 660p Series Up to 1800 read/write speed
2nd M.2 SSD Drive
1TB SSD 660p Series Up to 1800 read/write speed
Storage Drive
None.

Components replaced from previous RMAs in 2019:
Battery for TongFang ID-Z
Motherboard i7-8750 - GK5CN6Z
Battery for TongFang ID-Z
FFC Power-Board Cable 12pin
Power Board
Motherboard i7-8750 - GK5CN6Z

As of today I am now experiancing screen flickering and a dimming of the backlight of the screen. If i reset the brightness to 0% I can slowly increase it to get some backlighting of the screen, but once reaching somewhere between 30-60% it then begins to flicker and dims again. I have only been able to resolve this once by turning the laptop off for a few minutes then turning it back on, but then when under load (another game) the exact same thing happened.

I have updated my drivers, except the intel graphics one (because it advises there is a custom one installed from PCS). The same thing happens when both unplugged and plugged in to mains power.

Having read a couple of other similar threads it sounds like it's a screen/inverter issue, although i haven't heard the whining noise (but if it's a subtle noise the fans are probably louder than it).

I'm not keen to RMA again as i'm now only covered for labour, not parts or shipping under warranty, and the fact that i have had the motherboard and battery replaced twice already, i am not willing to pay for more, potentially poorly manurfactured, components. (i know they dont make them personally).

Any ideas on what I can do to fix it?

This is normally the backlight inverter on the screen failing, it's a common issue with early units of this model.

Are there any known fixes or similar replacement components that can be swapped out to fix it without an RMA?
Unfortunatly it isnt one of the upgrade/replacement parts they offer from the personal orders page

Not something we'd know of I'm afraid, these forums are purely for PCS support, it may be worth checking out an open forum like Toms Hardware.
