Samsung 840 PRO 512GB in Vortex II

HI all,
I am thinking about buying a SSD for my laptop and was wondering how easy it is to swap. Can I just move my HDD to other bay, install my SSD inot the first bay, copy all my files across to the SSD and then format my HDD?
WIll i need cables etc?

I would replace the existing drive with the SSD,then install your operating system on it (this can save possible problems with dual boot and the system reserved partition)then put your old drive into the second bay (assuming it has a second bay),you can now copy any data files over to the SSD if you wish,then format the HDD if you wish from the OS now installed on the SSD.But you will need to reinstall any applications or games you want onto the SSD,as you can't simply copy them over,you can of course reinstall applications or games to the second hard drive as well,after formatting.

Cheers m8. Reckon Ill just install a fresh copy of windows onto the new SSD. Gonna be a pain downloading all my steam & origin games again though :(
