Some sad news from the Purple camp today - legendary drummer Mick Underwood sadly passed away on the 28th July 2024.
Mick originally worked with Ritchie Blackmore in The Outlaws, before years later joining GILLAN to record on the great GILLAN albums including Mr Universe, Glory Road, Future Shock, Double Trouble and Magic.
RIP Mr Mick Underwood.
A true gentleman.
