Sabre S or Sabre X Help Please

Hi,

I’m looking at purchasing either the Sabre S or the Sabre X from the next day PC range. I will be mostly using the pc for gaming and will play the likes of GTA V, COD, Red Dead Redemption etc. I’m not sure if the Sabre X is overkill for what I’ll be using it for. Obviously, there’s a bit of a price difference between the two but I’m happy to pay more if it helps future proof my purchase (if that’s even a thing these days). Would appreciate your thoughts on this?

I will be purchasing a 1440p monitor too so would like to make the most of this.

For a 1440p monitor, you only need the 2070 Super so the Sabre S would be more appropriate. Personally, I would go with the Chimera XT to get AMD over Intel which would save £100 for no difference in performance when it comes to gaming

Thanks for your help. I did look at the Chimera XT but thought I’d be better off with an intel processor but I think you’re right. Will probably opt for the Chimera. Hoping to order today so thanks again for your speedy reply
