Just got my lovely new laptop from PCS, thanks.

Just noticed the glowing red uber hole on the side of the laptop. Didn't realise I was getting one of those. Does this mean I can attach lovely optic headphones?

Is this an optimus?

I'm sure I have SPDIF, but on my new motherboard (had the machine repaired) I see no red light, and can't get a sound output from it no matter what I try - swear the old one had a red light though, but I may be wrong.
