Watched a bit live last night. They missed out LN2 mode for a while which caused some delays. Not quite the heights of MSI, but this was a bone stock retail version they estimate. The voltages weren't even that high IMO.

Had a trawl through some youtube benchmarks, and thought I'd compile this (version of which is probably available to GN/HU/etc patrons) to show the relative performance increase you could see through the X3D versions (and a 5700 as comparison) at 1080p with an RTX4090 to rule out GPU bottlenecks.

You're way behind. 8K became reality with the 3090, I remember the promo's.

You should be aiming for around 32K by now.... at least. Get it on a 28" screen though, so that you can really appreciate the detail with the naked eye.

Jokes aside I remember when the GTX1000 series were released saying 8k wasn’t that far off!
