RTX 2060 Build

Hey, I’ve recently put together and ordered a build with the RTX 2060 on the site.

At the moment the RTX 2060 seems to be out of stock but I’ve heard about a new RTX 2060 coming out soon, are they replacing this old model on the website and will I have to wait until the new model is stocked?

Would it be in my best interest to wait for the new card anyway?

I would hold off regardless. There Super 2060 is expected to be a bit more expensive but performance is quite considerably increased. This will potentially bring a discount to the current 2060.

Okay thank you, if the performance increase is considerable I’ll wait. since I’ve already paid for the order will they allow me to postpone the build until they have the new cards in and I can then change to it?

I would cancel it to be honest. Wait for the new hardware to come out (along with the new Zen chips from AMD) and see what's available for the same money then.

Did you post up for recommendations? Site members are very good at helping you find the best bang for your buck.

Is it easy to cancel and then just make another build in a week or so when the card is out?

I didn’t post for any recommendations no, what I’ve ordered at the moment is around £1200. I would post a list but I’m currently on my phone.

Yeah it's pretty easy to cancel. I believe you just log into your account on the site and cancel it through your orders.

When you get a chance, start up a thread looking for recommendations specifying your usage, monitor selection, budget etc

I haven't read anything about them but if they are coming, it's generally a month or so down the line so there would be a longer wait. May be worth holding off anyway as the prices may change with the Super being made available.
