RGB only working on Corsair H115i pump head but not fans

Hey, as title says. Not the most pressing issue but any help would be appreciated.

Just got new build today. The pump head shows up in iCUE and I can change the RGB on that but there's no RGB on the fans. The fans aren't showing up under the lighting effects in iCUE for me to be able to change them. Under the performance tab, I can see the fan speeds for both Fan #1 and #2 so iCUE at least seems to recognise them there. Fans are spinning, just no RGB. I've updated iCUE but no luck.

Looking around online for help, most people in forums are talking about Commander Pro or Lighting Node Pro. Do you need those to have RGB on fans? Or might this be a hardware / cable issue?

The cooler you have selected isn't the RGB Platinum one. The fans don't light up on the XT.

Are they effectively the same cooler except for the rgb as I dont really want rgb in my new build ?

Yes, pretty much the same but there’s only RGB on the pump head with the Pro XT. And you can turn that off if you want 👍
