This is my absolute maximum budget really so I can't improve parts that will cost anymore. But how is this for a gaming system?

With the CPU I didn't get a K series because I know I won't ever be overclocking, so is there any point in getting a K series if thats the case? And with the RAM, its cheaper to get the Samsung RAM - would I notice a difference if I did this? And how is the motherboard?

Feedback appreciated!

Do you plan to sli/crossfire in the future?
And what is the pc going to be used for?
You mean £884 is your maxium budget not £900?

I won't be going down the SLI/Crossfire route as I will keep this PC untill it can barely run tasks anymore, and then buy a new one (in however many years it will be) so don't need to worry about that. It will be mainly used for intensive gaming and extracting large files, playing HD movies and multi-tasking with heavy CPU-consuming programs. And I really want to make it as cheap as possible with a strong spec, and I could stretch to £900 just about but I would prefer if it was lower!

The only thing I can recommend is getting the samsung ram instead of the kingston ram, and changing the hard drive to caviar black if you want to, then it will cost you £890

Yes, do as posted above, if you arent overclocking youw ont need the 1600MHZ RAM, and yes the K processors are for overcloers as they have an unlocked multiplier which makes OC'ing a lot easier.

I'd deffinatly go for the WD100"FAEX Caviar Black 64mb cached drive over the 16mb cached drive.
