Looks like the problematic 12VHPWR connector found on Nvidia 4000 series and some 3000 series has been led to the graveyard after a lot of 4090 owners found it would burn out.
The PCI Sig who agreed the design has announced a reworked model name 12V 2x6 which will be compatible with existing PSUs with the 12V HPWR output
This one is rated even higher at 675w over the 12VHPWRs 600W
