Hello everyone,
So I changed my xmp profile on my defiance V, since then my laptop boots but the screen won't display anything.
Do you guys know how I can reset my Xmp profile and still conserving the bios as it was initialy set up by pcspecialist ?

You'd have to reset the CMOS by removing the battery from the motherboard (the CMOS battery, not the laptop battery).

Did it actually have an XMP applied previously? I'd be surprised if it did.

I had the default xmp profile, and i changed it to the custom one through clevo control center.
Also, do you know where i can find de cmos button.
An other question, would the cmos reset remove the tuning applied by pcspecialist in order to fix my temp issues ?

Resetting the CMOS would reset the whole BIOS to defaults so you'd have to set it up from scratch again.

The default XMP would have been empty I'm guessing, they wouldn't apply an XMP on a laptop.

You'd have to find a service manual to show you where the CMOS battery is.

I managed to reset de cmos config through the keyboard combination. However the pcspecialist bios have been also reset, my clevo control center has also changed ( no gpu/cpu monitoring).
Is there a way to get the previous settings back ?

You have to reapply the undervolt with Intel XTU.

You'll likely have to reinstall control center also.

So as you said I reapplied the undervolt and everything seems to be back to normal.
Thank you very much for your time and help Spidertracks ;D.

No problem. By the way, what was the keyboard shortcut to reset the cmos?
As detailed in the defiance V manual which can be found in the download section, "If you get any system errors, to reset the computer you can press and hold the power button to force the system to shutdown. To restart press and hold the power button while holding down the Fn + D key combination (for the CPU reset or Fn + G for the GPU reset). The overclocking settings will be OFF after restart."
