Replacement power switch

How do i go about replacing tbe power switch on my case.
Had an i7 desktop made by pcspecialists about 5 years ago. Last week the pc failed to start and then came up with a fatal error saying that the power supply was unreliable or tbere was a power surge.
I had issues booting into either the bios or windows after that...
Then the pc wont boot and keeps turning itself off.
Today the switch wont even start...
Can i get a new switch as it looks like its integrated into the 2x usb and sound in and out panel..

It's unlikely to be the power switch.

There's usually a power button on the motherboard, try pressing that.

I wouldn't go fiddling with the case, you're likely to cause damage.

Also, please do some dusting when you get a minute. Your system will thank you for it and I’ll stop having a panic attack.

Seriously guys i only cleaned the internals the ither week but not had any coarse to take the front off 😳 i will clean...
I thought it might be the switch because it would jump into life when you wingle the switch about... And then stop and start..
Where would i find the power switch on the motherboard?

you never know with that amount of grime in there a good blow out wit a can of compressed air might help

Case fully cleaned and new Power Supply ordered.
Still like to know if i can get a replacement switch though in case the power supply isnt the issue.
Anyone know?

Right ok.. So not good news. Power supply replaced but still dead.
I even swapped round the power switch and reset switch on tbe motberboard pins to see if it was the power switch and still nothing 🤔.
Power is getting to tbe board though as the power light lights up. Pic attached.
Where is the power switch on the mother board on these anyone know?
If its not tbe switch or power supply am i looking at a new motherboard?

Check out 4.6, you have TUF Detective to troubleshoot the board.

I would also try resetting the CMOS which will be in that manual also, that could be preventing boot.

Although it does sound like a failed board.

The Tuf Detective didnt connect. It said it could not find a device?!
Good news though,
Power back to the motherboard and booted up ok.. No idea what i did other than to press this switch on the back of the case.
Reboot is ok but if i powerdown then switch on it seems to error... And i get this error screen now...
Think i will just leave it switched on...?
Any ideas why when i shutdown i get issues? But reboot and its ok?

Do you have 'Fast Start-up' enabled via Windows? if so would be interesting if you turned that off and then shut-down whether the issue is still there.

That is the most obvious difference between 'restart' and 'shutdown' I can think of for W10 as to why you may be seeing the issue not repeating.

Thats not something i was aware of tbh.. I know in the BIOS i can change it there to fast or standard boot...i wasnt aware there was a Windows one too.. Do they both have to match?

Disable Asus Anti Surge in the BIOS also, it's known to cause issues.

Have you applied any overclock or any adjustments to the CPU at all? Even if just selecting a power profile in the BIOS or windows utility?

It also says you have 3 hubs connected? Remove them while troubleshooting, could well be one of those causing a surge.

The chassis intrude message is because you have the side open, that's just a warning message which will disappear once the cover is back on.

I will try and align the Windows and Bios start up modes and disable Anti Surge in the BIOS.
Not aware that ive chosen any overclocking either but will check.
What are the Hubs you refer to, the other hard drives that i have connected from old machines?
