Hello everyone finally managed to find a relevant forum. Hopefully the wonderful members will be able to help me out.

I am planning on purchasing a desktop pc that will help me render files in 1080p and 720p HD. Using software's such as Sony Vegas, Adobe After Effects.
My current desktop pc is old and rendering takes a very long time to render.
I want to connect up to 3 monitors simultaneously.

Can please someone post some recommendations on what would be the best rendering desktop pc.

My budget is set at £1000

Many thanks

Steve

Hey Boozad thanks for your reponse bud appreciate your help. I see the RAM is 8GB shouldn't that be upgraded to 16GB or even 32GB bud? Just that on some other forums people have high RAM. Also there is only 1 graphics card, would id be ideal to have 2 bud?

Thanks

You could double up the RAM for an extra fifty quid which would be a good move for rendering, I was just trying to stick as close to your budget as I could. I never noticed you wanted multi-monitor output either sorry, in which case you could add another card (AMD may be a cheaper way to go there if you're not intending on gaming) or you could go for the 4GB 680 but that would add a significant bump to the price. Is your budget set in stone or is there any wiggle room? Either way you're looking at around the £1300 mark.

Hey bud, ideally I want a pc that will be used for mainly rendering. But of course I must be able to use everyday applications such as internet, music etc.
How much do you think it would cost for a high spec rendering desktop pc? I want it to last for a long period time.

I have a friend who will be able to get the parts for a bit cheaper. So £1300 isn't an issue for me bud.

Thanks

Hey there!

First off, 8GB of RAM is a decent amount, but won't be enough for rendering.

This was the best I could do for just over £1,300

You'll have to push your budget to get a setup to handle 3 monitors at ultra settings.)

Depends on the make and size of monitors you go for.
The IIYAMA Monitors from PCS are pretty popular starting at £134 for the 22",but a smaller or cheaper brand may suit your needs.

Hey vanthus, sorry bud what I meant was "You could push 3 monitors, but the performance wouldn't be as good. You'll have to push your budget to get a setup to handle 3 monitors at ultra settings". How much will it cost to get three 3 monitors connected? Will I require another graphics card?

Thanks
